Airbnb Wedding Venues near Wilmington, NC: Carolina Beach and Castle Hayne

Looking for an Airbnb wedding venue near Wilmington, NC? This local guide focuses on two Carolina Beach rentals, Snow’s Cut Chateau and Sea La Vie, and the WalkerWorld wedding lead in Castle Hayne. Start by deciding whether you need overnight lodging, a place to get ready or permission to host the ceremony and reception. These are different uses, and the rental listings below are not blanket approval for a wedding.

Still comparing locations elsewhere in the state? Use the North Carolina Airbnb wedding guide to compare regions and rentals, including Chapel Hill, Lake Gaston, Pinehurst and the Fayetteville area.

Plan the route between your stay, ceremony and portraits

For a Carolina Beach stay, confirm the exact beach access, parking and where your group will get ready. If the ceremony or reception is elsewhere, plan that journey separately. For Castle Hayne, build the day around the approved riverfront spaces and an indoor backup. If you are considering Wrightsville Beach, check that location separately; the two beach rentals compared here are in Carolina Beach.

Listings and sources checked October 29, 2026. Published lodging details are not event approval or a quote. Confirm current rules, dates and the complete cost with the host or venue. This guide is available here without a spreadsheet signup.

Compare Carolina Beach stays and the Castle Hayne wedding option

  • Oceanfront lodging: Snow’s Cut Chateau has direct beach access and six bedrooms. Its published use restrictions need careful attention before you consider any wedding activity.
  • Getting-ready base near the beach: the five-bedroom Sea La Vie townhouse sleeps 11 and has beach access nearby. A wedding or reception there is not verified.
  • Rustic river setting: WalkerWorld in Castle Hayne has documented wedding use. Current capacity, lodging and event terms still need direct confirmation.

Snow’s Cut Chateau · Carolina Beach

View the Snow’s Cut Chateau host listing. The listing advertises six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, space for 16+ overnight guests, a private beach boardwalk and parking for 10 vehicles. Those are lodging details, not a ceremony guest limit.

Permission check: the host’s description distinguishes family use from bridal-party use, describes monitoring for inappropriate use and lists quiet hours beginning at 9 PM. Do not treat this as an approved wedding venue. Ask specifically about getting ready, outside photographers, day visitors and any ceremony or reception; if your plan is not permitted, use it only within the allowed lodging terms or choose another property.

My photography planning advice

For a house with ocean-facing windows, I would choose one uncluttered window-lit room for getting ready instead of moving between every floor. A private boardwalk can simplify the walk to portraits, but leave time for shoes, sand and relatives who walk slowly. For portraits facing the ocean, I would plan around the light and wind rather than assume an ocean view means good light all day. Confirm where we may photograph before building that route into your timeline.

Sea La Vie · five-bedroom Carolina Beach townhouse

View the five-bedroom Sea La Vie listing. This is the townhouse advertising five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 11 overnight guests—not the other rentals with the same name. Its host lists an elevator, balconies, a rooftop terrace and a beach access about one block away.

Permission check: I did not verify permission for a wedding, reception or additional day visitors. The listing says neighborhood street parking is not allowed. Confirm the current driveway allowance and whether vendors and getting-ready visitors count toward the permitted occupancy. Treat it as a lodging option until your exact use is approved.

My photography planning advice

I would plan the getting-ready photographs around one room and one nearby portrait spot. The listing places the living area on the upper floor, so build in time to move people and equipment. An elevator may help, but ask about its size and access; it is not a guarantee that the entire route is step-free. A rooftop is exposed to sun and wind, so I would keep a quieter indoor portrait option ready. Beach access nearby still means a walk—schedule that separately from the ceremony.

WalkerWorld · Castle Hayne

WalkerWorld is a separate riverfront option near Wilmington, rather than a Carolina Beach rental. A September 2026 couple’s wedding website identifies WalkerWorld at 453 Blossom Ferry Road for their ceremony and reception. A venue directory listing also describes wedding use.

Verification limit: these sources establish documented wedding use, not current availability or permission for your booking. I could not independently verify current terms on the venue’s own website. Ask the operator for a current event agreement, overnight capacity, rain-plan capacity, parking, vendor access and music cutoff. I am not publishing an unconfirmed rate or guest limit.

My photography planning advice

For a wooded river setting, I would prioritize open shade for family portraits and check whether the ceremony background stays consistent as the light changes. Keep a clear route between getting ready, the ceremony and the reception. Before committing to a dock portrait, ask about access and choose a comfortable alternative for anyone who needs firmer footing. These are planning recommendations for the setting, not a claim that I have photographed this property.

What happened to Biedenbach Beach House?

I could not confidently match that historical name to a current property listing. I have removed it from the active shortlist rather than send you to a similarly named house. Generic entries such as “Oceanview House” also need an exact listing before they are useful recommendations.

Compare the whole wedding cost

Compare the required nights, cleaning and booking fees, permitted event fee, furniture, catering, bathrooms, parking or transport, setup, cleanup and rain backup. A nightly rental price does not include all the things a dedicated venue may provide. Keep overnight guest counts separate from event attendance in every quote.

Airbnb’s Community Disturbance Policy prohibits disruptive gatherings and open-invitation parties. The host’s permission does not override platform rules. For a beach ceremony, confirm the relevant town’s requirements separately from the rental agreement.

The photographs I would plan before you book

  • Getting ready: one usable window-lit room, space for belongings and a separate area for bags and food.
  • Ceremony: the direction of the light, a clear aisle, permission for the location and an indoor backup that fits everyone.
  • Family portraits: a nearby shaded space with an accessible route, rather than moving every relative onto the beach.
  • Couple portraits: a short route that leaves time together with your guests. Save a brief sunset window if the timeline and weather allow.
  • Video: a quieter place for private vows; surf, wind and air-conditioning can make spoken audio harder to capture.
