- Getting your marriage license starts with filling out a marriage application, which you can do here.
- Go to the Buncombe County Register of Deeds, you and your partner to be present.
- Bring your Photo ID or Passport & Social Security
- As well as $60 in Cash or Debit/Credit Card
- Once you get your marriage license, schedule an appointment with an officiant or with a courthouse official.
- Bring 2 witnesses to your elopement or wedding.
